about society & space

A free digital magazine and subscription based journal that helps people stay informed on interdisciplinary debates related to pressing social, political, and environmental issues.

We seek contributions that investigate and challenge the ways that systems of power, difference and oppression shape lives, and how they are resisted, subverted and reworked. We welcome work that is empirically engaged and furthers a range of critical approaches, that pushes conceptual boundaries and puts theory to work in innovative ways, and that consciously navigates the politics of knowledge production within and beyond the academy.
